Meet the Flosserbrush
Our re-imagining of the manual toothbrush
Meet the Flosserbrush: our re-imagining of the manual toothbrush. Before we tell you more, let us first set the scene.
Maintaining the balance
Good oral health is about good oral bacteria. Don’t be anti-bacteria, be pro-balance!
Don’t worry, we’ll keep it light. As we’re sure you know our mouths are teeming with bacteria, but they’re not all bad! The good bacteria help fight off the bad, keeping our mouths happy and healthy. Bacteria also aid digestion and as food enters through the mouth, the process starts here. For this reason, it’s important to keep bacteria in balance rather than kill them all off and regular tooth brushing maintains this balance.
Konex HD®: the cat’s whiskers
Helping to navigate the contours of your teeth while avoiding damage to gums
The tapered shape of our Konex HD® bristles imparts stability at the base and flexibility in the tip. This shape helps the bristles adapt to the surfaces of the teeth, hugging their curves and establishing more intimate contact than conventional bristles can achieve. They are the cat’s whiskers. No, seriously – they are! Just as whiskers help a cat to navigate the world and avoid danger, our Konex HD® bristles navigate your teeth and avoid damage.
The bristles of our UltraSoft Flosserbrush are just that – UltraSoft. In fact, they’re five times thinner than regular UltraSoft bristles, so they’re UltraUltraSoft. This provides comfort during brushing, particularly for those with sensitive teeth and gums, making the task of brushing teeth a pleasant experience. You may think that the word softness is synonymous with weakness, but our Konex HD® bristles are in fact five times more durable than those of conventional toothbrushes.
In addition to their flexibility, the tips are also eight times thinner than traditional bristles granting them VIP status with Access All Areas passes. By this we mean that they can enter both the gum margin (that’s where the teeth meet the gum) and the interdental spaces (or more simply, the gaps between teeth) – both of which are favourite hang-out spots for bacteria. The bristles’ ability to access these normally unreachable areas is how the Flosserbrush got its name: it flosses while it brushes.
How to win at the game of dental hygiene
When you brush with the Flosserbrush, you’ll be dealt with the best playing cards every time
So how do these features clean and protect teeth? Imagine your mouth is a board game and the Flosserbrush and bacteria are the players. The aim of the game is to occupy as much of the board as possible, with bonus points up for grabs by those who populate the premium areas (in the game of dental hygiene, that’s the interdental spaces and the gum margin). The bacteria are greedy and want as many points as possible, so they aim for the premium areas. The Flosserbrush, however, is competitive and armed with a handful of playing cards that give it an edge in the competition, it can effortlessly beat the bacteria every time.
When you play with the Flosserbrush, you’ll win at dental hygiene every time. Not only does it clean away bacterial settlements (plaque), but with regular use, it prevents their return.
Design meets function
With Konex HDⓇ bristles and a long, flexible handle available in a multitude of colours, the Flosserbrush effortlessly combines design and function
Unlike the rigid toothbrush handles that have saturated the market, the Flosserbrush offers you something unique. Available in 12 different colours, the handle possesses three features that make brushing comfortable, easy and safe.
The most prominent feature of the Flosserbrush handle is its flexibility. If you apply too much pressure when brushing, the resilient handle flexes away from the teeth, absorbing the pressure and protecting your gums. Coupled with the softness of the Konex HD® bristles and a compact, rubberised head, it’s almost impossible to do any damage to your teeth or gums (but we don’t recommend you try to prove us wrong!).
Longer than regular toothbrushes, the handle is more easily manoeuvred. Its ergonomic design befits those with limited dexterity and provides a more comfortable brushing experience.
Its clear-cut edges and rubberised facets help you to grip the handle better to facilitate a 45° brushing angle. Remember the gum margin we talked about earlier? Well brushing at an angle of 45° directs the bristles into the gum margin, resulting in a more thorough clean and longer-lived protection.
The first toothbrush that responds to you
The Flosserbrush bends over backwards – literally! – to clean teeth and gums with zero damage
The handle responds to excessive pressure by flexing away from the mouth, while the bristles respond to your brushing movements by adapting to the contours of your teeth. Instead of working for you, it works with you by easily and comfortably conforming to your brushing style.
