Almost perfect for me
Soft enough so it doesn't irritate (most "soft" brushes are horribly rough) and shaped to fit my tiny jaw. The handle slips so that's annoying but still one of my favorite brushes. Nimbus makes the softest brush I've ever used (given to me by a dentist and only found online) but my teeth never really feel clean after using it. It's so soft it doesn't seem to do as good a job as the Wave. But it's the only brush my husband will use.

Almost perfect
I could stand the bristles to be even a bit softer, but these will do. The "wave" shape is not my favorite. Longer bristles on the end are nice for getting back teeth - anything else is unnecessary and awkward. The best extra soft toothbrush ever was by Oral B. It was called the "Sensitive Advantage." Unfortunately, they don't make it anymore. The Colgate Wave would be my second choice.
